AASVF-Zoetis Foundation Student Debt Relief Grant

The AASVF-Zoetis Foundation Student Debt Relief Grants are awarded to swine veterinarians to offset a portion of their student loan debt. The intent is to relieve some of the burden associated with the significant financial cost of completing a veterinary medical education. The scholarships are funded through a grant provided by the Zoetis Foundation and awarded through the American Association of Swine Veterinarians Foundation.

Ten $7500 grants will be awarded during the 2024 AASV Annual Meeting.

The following criteria will be used to select the awardees:

1. Graduated from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine
2. Joined AASV as a student while pursuing a veterinary degree

4. Is at least 2 years and at most 10 years post-graduation from veterinary school (2014 through 2021 DVM/VMD graduates)
5. Career focus has been 50% or more devoted to swine since graduation
