AASV 2024 Annual Meeting - Registration Agreement

By registering for the Annual Meeting, you acknowledge that your registration and permission to attend the Annual Meeting and its associated functions may be refused or revoked for any reason.

The AASV reserves the right to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose conduct is deemed:

• disorderly or disruptive;
• contrary to the mission of the AASV; or
• noncompliant with the AASV’s or the hotel’s rules, guidelines, precautions, and expectations, implemented at or in connection with the Annual Meeting.

Such determination, in the sole discretion of AASV, will result in a termination of privilege to attend Annual Meeting events without obligation to refund any admission, event, travel, or other fees or costs.

Health Disclaimer

By registering for the Annual Meeting, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to communicable diseases exists in any public place where people are present. By attending the Annual Meeting and associated functions, you and any guest voluntarily assume all risks and agree not to hold AASV, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury. You should not attend the Annual Meeting, or any part of it, if you experience any signs or symptoms of a communicable disease such as fever/chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle aches, headache, or loss of taste or smell.

Photography, Video, and Other Media

An attendee is permitted to take photographs for personal, non-commercial use, provided the photography is not disruptive and does not infringe upon the rights of any attendee, speaker, sponsor, third party, or AASV. Such infringement would include, but is not limited to, defamation or infringement of intellectual property rights. Photographs may not be published, sold, reproduced, transmitted, distributed or otherwise commercially exploited in any manner. Audio and video recording of sessions is prohibited. AASV may hire professional service providers (photo/video/streaming/audio) to document and display the event experience. By registering for and/or attending the annual meeting, you grant AASV non-revocable permission to capture your image and likeness in photographs, videos, or other media in public meeting spaces. AASV will own such media and has permission for use in any manner related to AASV business.
