Staff Veterinarian

Cargill Pork, the premier provider of quality feeder pigs to the independent grower in the midwest, is currently seeking candidates for a staff veterinarian position in Arkansas. This individual must be a creative thinker with attention to detail and must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preference will be given to candidates who have swine production or private practice experience or both.

We are looking for a team player who will work well with other staff veterinarians and production management personnel to manage animal health and nutrition. The successful candidate will be responsible for problem solving and diagnostics in health- and production-related issues on contract sow farms and internal gilt multiplication in western Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma. Minimal routine regulatory work is required. The candidate must be an accredited veterinarian with the ability to obtain licenses in Arkansas and Oklahoma.
