AASV Foundation Debt-Relief Grants

The AASV Foundation offers two opportunities for AASV members to apply for relief of student debt. The scholarships are awarded during the AASV Annual Meeting.

Dr. Conrad and Judy Schmidt Family Student Debt Relief Scholarships

Two $7500 scholarships are awarded annually to AASV members 2 to 5 years post-graduation from veterinary school who are engaged in private veterinary practice (50% or more devoted to swine), providing on-farm service directly to independent pork producers.

AASVF-Zoetis Foundation Student Debt Relief Grants

Ten $7500 grants will be awarded in 2025 to AASV members 2 to 10 years post-graduation from veterinary school whose career focus has been 50% or more devoted to swine.

Submit the completed application to foundation@aasv.org.

Applications for both opportunities are due December 1.

Previous recipients of the Dr. Conrad and Judy Schmidt Family Student Debt Relief Scholarship or the AASVF-Zoetis Foundation Debt Relief Grant are no longer eligible to apply for either opportunity.
