AASV was saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. E. Wayne Miller, lifetime member of AASP/V since 1972. Dr. Miller passed away in February 2023.

Master of Veterinary Science in Livestock Systems Health Application is Open- Apply now!
The University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine offers an online Master of Veterinary Science (MVS) degree in Livestock Systems Health. The MVS degree is a 32-credit-hour program designed for adult learners. The 16-week courses move at a pace conducive to online learning while giving adult learners opportunities to interact with instructors and classmates through live sessions and virtual office hours. Students should expect to spend 8-10 hours on course materials each week. Applications due October 15.
Call for Abstracts: AASV 2024 Student Seminar and Poster Scholarship Competition
The American Association of Swine Veterinarians announces an opportunity for veterinary students to make a scientific presentation at the AASV Annual Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee, on Sunday, February 25, 2024. Interested students are invited to submit a one-page abstract of a research paper, clinical case study, or literature review for consideration. The submitting student must be a current (2023-24) student member of the AASV at the time of submission, and must not have graduated from veterinary school prior to February 25, 2024. Submissions are limited to one (1) abstract per student.
