Boehringer Ingelheim 2023 GRANTS Call for Proposals Deadline April 14
Practicing veterinarians and producers, as well as researchers and academics, may now apply for one of three $35,000 awards for research related to swine health and production through the Growing Research and New Technology for Swine (GRANTS) program, sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim.

Early-career swine vet program under way; participants announced
The new AASV Participant-led, Early-career Swine Veterinarian Development Program wasted no time getting started after receiving a $202,548 Education, Extension, and Training grant from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) Veterinary Service Grants Program (VSGP) in September. The program began accepting applications in October, the participants were selected in November, the initial meeting to introduce participants to the program and each other took place in early December, and the first module is taking place this week in Ames, Iowa!
