For his dedicated time to advancing the pig industry, Indiana Pork recently announced Dr. Jeffrey Harker as the recipient of the Indiana Pork Industry Meritorious Service Award.
Dr. Harker graduated from Purdue University with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1994 and has been a swine veterinarian with AMVC for his entire 30-year career. He is past president of both the Indiana Pork board of directors and the American Association of Swine Veterinarians. Dr. Harker is married to his high school sweetheart, Tracie, and are the parents of four children and three grandchildren.
