The annual election for AASV Vice President and President-Elect is underway.
The nominees for Vice President are Dr. Melissa Billing (Ohio) and Dr. Chris Rademacher (Iowa). Information about the candidates appears in the Jan/Feb 2025 issue of the Journal of Swine Health & Production.
The ballot also includes the candidate for President-elect, Dr. Rebecca Robbins (Texas), who has served as AASV Vice President for the past year. See the Jan/Feb 2024 JSHAP issue for Dr. Robbins’ biographical information. An opportunity for a write-in candidate is available.
Each voting member (veterinarian in the US, Canada or Mexico) has been sent an email message containing a link to their ballot. Voters may also access their ballot by logging into their AASV Member account at aasv.org/members. The last day to enter a vote is Friday, February 21, 2025. The election results will be announced on Tuesday, March 4 during the Business Breakfast at the AASV Annual Meeting in San Francisco.
Elections are also under way for the AASV District Director positions in Districts 3 and 7. A link to the ballot has been emailed to each voting member in the applicable districts, along with a link to each candidate’s biographical campaign message. Members may also access their ballot and candidate messages by logging into aasv.org/members.
