Dr. Fabio Vannucci has joined the faculty at the University of Minnesota Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory as Assistant Professor/Pathologist for food animal diseases. Previously, he was Pathologist and R&D Director at Microvet Laboratories in Brazil. Dr. Vannucci earned his DVM and MSc in Brazil at the Federal University of Vicosa and Federal University of Minas Gerais, respectively, and obtained his PhD from the University of Minnesota studying pathogenesis and diagnostics of Lawsonia intracellularis and Brachsypira spp infections.
