National Pork Board’s Research Database

Over the years, the National Pork Board has funded millions of dollars of research to benefit the swine industry through the Pork Checkoff program. Keeping up with the progress of all these research projects was a monumental task. Thanks to the efforts of the folks in the Science and Technology division at NPB, an easily searchable online database allows the user to access research summaries as the final project reports are submitted. The reports are published directly as submitted by the project’s principal investigator and have not been peer reviewed. If you’re interested in a particular research project or just wonder what research has been completed on a particular topic, give the database a try. It makes for some interesting reading.
