Online registration is now available for the 14th Annual Swine Disease Conference for Swine Practitioners November 9 – 10, 2006 at Iowa State University in Ames, IA.
The conference, sponsored by the ISU CVM, the Iowa Pork Industry Center, and the AASV, focuses on emerging swine pathogens and their control, and improvements in diagnostics and risk-based controls useful for on-farm health plan development. Special emphasis is on information necessary to formulate management plans for disease control, for biosecurity, and for food safety enhancement.
One goal of this conference is to provide swine practitioners with new and emerging technologies and procedures that can be applied at the herd and state level to improve production and product safety and quality.
