Dr. Igor Paploski was appointed as an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota in January 2025. He will work at the swine group in the Veterinary Population Medicine department, where he will continue his efforts on improving the epidemiological understanding of diseases of swine, focusing (but not being restricted) to PRRSV and PEDV. He will also strengthen lines of investigation associated with dead animal biosecurity and on wean-to-finish disease surveillance, while also mentoring graduate students.
