Survey: Veterinarian Muscular Injury Research

Texas A&M Worker Health Center is inviting you to participate in a survey aimed at delving into the factors contributing to self-reported Musculoskeletal Disorder (MSD) symptoms among veterinarians. Your expertise and insights are invaluable to us as we seek to enhance the well-being and occupational health of veterinary professionals like yourself.

The findings can also help develop educational materials that teach best practices for preventing MSDs, such as proper lifting techniques and better tool selection. Educating veterinarians on these practices can reduce the occurrence of MSDs, but it is first important to collect qualitative data to better understand specific challenges veterinarians face. This data can provide insights into daily tasks and issues that contribute to MSDs, ensuring that the educational materials and tools are relevant and effective.

Results will be published and reported in a peer-reviewed article. As a thank you, a 1-hour RACE module will be sent to you to complete. The topic is over Ergonomics in veterinary practices, and it is hosted by Texas A&M University.
