What is Safepork?
Safepork was set up in 1996 at the University of Iowa with the aim of bringing together international researchers, industrialists and government agencies working on the problem of Salmonella in livestock and pork meat. Since then, this conference, which is held all over the world, has taken on board other issues, particularly the biological, chemical and physical risks of pork production.
