Save the Date: SafePork – October 6-8, 2025, in France

After Brazil in 2017, Berlin in 2019 and New Orleans in 2023, France will host the International Symposium on the Epidemiology and Control of Biological, Chemical, and Physical Hazards in Pigs and Pork – SafePork 2025!

It is in the heart of Brittany, in Rennes, that Researchers working towards a single objective – health safety in the pig and pork industry – have chosen to meet.

What is Safepork?

Safepork was set up in 1996 at the University of Iowa with the aim of bringing together international researchers, industrialists and government agencies working on the problem of Salmonella in livestock and pork meat. Since then, this conference, which is held all over the world, has taken on board other issues, particularly the biological, chemical and physical risks of pork production.
