Applications Open for AABP Practice Management Training Modules

AABP has received a USDA grant to fund practice management training modules for early career veterinarians (10 years or less since graduation at the time of application). The grants allows three groups of 15 veterinarians per group to participate. AASV members are welcome to apply!

Approximately 35 hours of continuing education will be provided. The workshops are free to attend and the attendee is responsible for travel expenses to attend the in-person 3-day course in Ashland, Ohio at the AABP office. The course also includes six virtual training sessions before and after the in-person workshop as well as the opportunity to identify one faculty member to work with one-on-one on an individual project that develops their future needs and growth in their business.

The criteria to be eligible for the grant includes being a US citizen, a veterinarian who graduated from 2015-2024, and at least 10% of revenues from food animals. Applicants who are accepted into the program will have the opportunity to purchase a seat for an accompanying person such as a partner, owner, bookkeeper, manager or technician. If you are an AABP member who does not qualify for the grant, we will have a limited number of seats available for a fee. Interested members should contact fred@aabp.org to be placed on a waiting list.
