Breakthrough research relating to aerosol exposure in 2017 marked a major turning point for Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae (M. hyopneumoniae) eradication programs, making eradication a much more attainable goal. Now, new findings pertaining to the refined aerosol-exposure method, diagnostic questions, day-0 confirmation methods and end-of- herd-closure confirmations offer updated direction regarding the main elements and steps of an eradication program, making eradication more accessible than ever before.
This webinar will explore the newly launched M. hyopneumoniae Eradication Roadmap, a free resource developed by the University of Minnesota and Boehringer Ingelheim U.S. Swine Division, to equip veterinarians and producers with a holistic resource to inform, prepare and guide them through the eradication process.
The M. hyopneumoniae Roadmap incorporates key learnings, research and practical instruction from more than 25 industry thought leaders, including practicing veterinarians, producers and academics. Three esteemed thought leaders, and key contributors to the M. hyopneumoniae Roadmap, will share with viewers what the Roadmap is and how they can use it to inform their own eradication programs.
