The Pig Research Summit 2024 will be held 20 – 21 November 2024 at Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers, Denmark. Abstracts are now being accepted.
Since 2019, the Danish Agriculture & Food Council, Pig Research Centre together with SEGES Innovation has hosted a series of successful Summits on relevant topics concerning European and global pig production, attracting participants from around the world. This year is no exception.
Join the Summit in Copenhagen to gain cutting-edge knowledge on sustainable feed practices and technologies in the global pig industry, as the theme of this year’s Summit is "Sustainable Pig Feed for the Future".
The five main topics for the Summit are:
- Cultivation of sustainable feed for pig production
- What are the sustainable pig feed protein sources in the future?
- Improved nutrient utilisation in pig feed
- Inventory methods and documentation
- How to balance sustainability and competitiveness in pig production?

Share your ideas and innovations on sustainable feed production practices and technologies, contributing to knowledge and innovation across the pig industry.
If your submission is successful, you’ll have the opportunity to present your work alongside companies, value-chain leaders, and other researchers at the Pig Research Summit 2024 in Copenhagen.
Your abstract should address one of the above five topics.
The deadline for submitting abstracts is 13 May 2024.
