Katie Steneroden DVM, MPH, PhD, DACVPM, course instructor, CFSPH, explains, "This exponentially growing production system isn’t something we encounter in veterinary school. Learning the rules and practices of organic and alternative livestock farming and the animal health professional’s role on these farms and ranches is much needed and long overdue." Additional course instructors: Jenna Bjork, DVM, MPH, and Delaine Quaresma DVM, MPH.
The course has been approved by the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB) Registry of Approved Continuing Education (RACE®) for up to 7 CE hours (non-interactive online; veterinarians or veterinary technicians). Work at your own pace and earn as many or as few CE hours as desired.
The course closes December 31, 2023.
