The 2023 Pain in Animals Workshop: Advancing Outcome Measure Development and Analytical Approaches will be held at the Natcher Conference Center (Building 45) in the Auditorium on the campus of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Bethesda, Maryland from September 26th – 27th 2023.
The meeting is qualified for 11.5 hours of AAVSB RACE Approved CE for Veterinarians.
The 2023 workshop will focus on updates on validated approaches to measuring pain, highlighting opportunity areas for additional outcome measure development, as well as study design and analytic approaches to the use of outcome measures in clinical trials.

The meeting, funded through a grant from the Mayday Fund: https://www.maydayfund.org/, with additional support from NC State Comparative Pain Research and Education Centre will bring together researchers, clinicians/practitioners in human and veterinary medicine, industry, and the regulatory authorities.
