The newest video in the ongoing series, Feral Swine in America: Chapter Six- Louisiana, looks at the impacts feral swine have on alligators and agriculture in Louisiana and the disease risk they pose to livestock, wildlife, and humans.
To increase public awareness, APHIS is offering this video series, which chronicles the impact of feral swine on Americans’ livelihoods through damage to agricultural and natural resources. Congress established the National Feral Swine Damage Management Program in 2014 to protect agricultural and natural resources, property, animal health, and human health and safety by managing damage caused by feral swine in the United States and its territories.
Go to the APHIS YouTube site and follow the Feral Swine in America playlist. Then, enjoy Chapter Six- Louisiana, and watch for future episodes to be released soon!
