The workshop, intended for veterinarians, scientists, and producers will be held over a 2-day period, March 29-30th. The workshop will include morning informational presentations about various topics including epidemiology, surveillance, diagnostics and vaccines while the afternoon will consist of breakout sessions and applied activities. The presentations will also incorporate a One Health aspect as well as a discussion on a current case scenario.

Objective: The objective of this workshop is to focus on the popular request of collaboration & sharing regarding resources, methodologies and knowledge among stakeholders interested in swine influenza from the farm to the laboratory.
Audience: Target audience is veterinarians, scientists, anyone interested in learning more on influenza in swine including producers.
Meeting Structure/Intentions: The virtual workshop is intended to be held over a 2-day period. There will be two types of sessions. The morning sessions will be structured as more didactic/lecture type presentations by the representative subcommittees (epidemiology, surveillance, diagnostics and vaccines). The structure of the afternoon session will be more of a breakout/practical knowledge sharing by the aforementioned subcommittees. A One Health aspect will also be incorporated within the sessions as we intend to raise greater awareness of IAV-S at the human-animal interface.
