Operation Main Street (OMS) will offer virtual training sessions for AASV members in late April and early May. This course is ideal for Swine Veterinarians interested in sharing their pork story with dietetic professionals, human health professionals, and students of veterinary medicine.
The training will require four hours to complete and will be presented as a mix of live Zoom segments and online segments.
The first segment will be live Zoom session, which provides an overview of the OMS program, the curriculum, and a testimonial from an active speaker.
The second segment is a series of recorded modules on OMS content, delivery, Q&A based on the established AASV training curriculum. This content is available on-demand.
The third segment is a live Zoom session. This will provide an opportunity to discuss and answer participant questions on the on-demand content. We will dive into what the public wants to know about animal care and well-being, antibiotics, and the sustainability of pork production, plus practice answering common questions asked by audiences.
If you, or a colleague, are interested in OMS training, please reach out to Adrianne Parr at adrianne@eidsonandpartners.com. Reserve your spot by April 25th!
