The IPVS2022 Congress Organizing Committee have extended to February 15th the deadline for the submission of abstracts that, after analysis by the IPVS2022 Evaluation Committee, will be presented during the event, which takes place from June 21st – 24th in Rio de Janeiro.
In its first hybrid edition, IPVS2022, whose theme is "New perspectives for swine production: biosecurity, productivity and innovation", marks the return of the event to Brazil after 34 years.
Aiming to bring knowledge and update to the world’s swine production, the most recent research data developed in renowned institutions around the world will be presented.
For Fernanda Almeida, this is a great opportunity for the dissemination and discussion of science in various areas. "We will bring together big names of the world swine production interested in updating themselves on the latest findings in the sector, which makes the event a showcase for new solutions and discoveries in the swine area," says the president of IPVS2022.
What you need to know The IPVS2022 Organizing Committee calls attention to the importance of the abstract preparation guidelines. It should be strictly observed, because "If the abstract does not follow the established guidelines, it may be rejected by the Evaluation Committee," reports the president of the event.
Abstracts should fall into one of the following 12 thematic areas: viral diseases; bacterial diseases; immunology & vaccinology; food safety & parasites; reproduction; antimicrobials; welfare; nutrition; clinical cases; production & innovation; herd management and miscellaneous.
