Dr. Michael Welch recently began work as a Research Scientist with Carthage Innovative Swine Solutions in Carthage, Illinois, where he is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of Carthage’s research program, including designing research protocols, analyzing data, and providing technical support to stakeholders. He was previously a Graduate Research Assistant at the Iowa State University Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory in Ames, Iowa, where he received a PhD in Veterinary Microbiology in December.
