Candidate for AASV Vice President: Dr. Angela Baysinger

The annual election for AASV Vice President is under way! The nominee is Dr. Angela Baysinger (Bruning, Nebraska), with space on the ballot for a write-in candidate. Information about Dr. Baysinger appears in the January/February 2022 issue of the Journal of Swine Health & Production (available on the AASV website under the “Journal” menu tab). You’ll also find a line on the ballot for the President-elect, who traditionally ascends from the Vice President position. If you’d like to refresh your memory about Dr. Bill Hollis, this year’s candidate for President-elect, you’ll find his VP candidate’s message from last year in the January/February 2021 issue of the Journal of Swine Health & Production, also available online.

Again this year, voting is being conducted electronically. Each voting member (veterinarian in the US, Canada or Mexico) has been sent a letter and an email message containing a link to their ballot. Voters may also access their ballot by logging into their AASV Member account at aasv.org/members. The last day to enter a vote is Friday, February 18. The election results will be announced in Indianapolis during the AASV Business meeting on Tuesday, March 1.
