Clipper Distributing is actively searching for a Veterinary Technical Support & Sales Representative. The Veterinary Technical Support & Sales Representative is responsible for the strategic development of farm channel sales and technical marketing programs to support and strengthen Clipper Distributing Sales in the farm segment. This role will equip and enable our team and distribution partners with educational tools to be successful in selling a variety of production animal products, with a heavy focus on disinfectants. This individual must build and strengthen new and current relationships, with the goal of maximizing existing opportunities and developing new ones to ensure long term sustainable and profitable growth. This role works closely with Clipper Marketing to create, deliver and leverage the channel marketing strategy. This is a hybrid sales position, with both direct selling and distribution management responsibilities. You will represent both Clipper as well as the Manufacturer in the field. Clipper Distributing is a company with 30 years of service to the veterinary profession is looking to fill a new position as Technical Support & Sales Representative in a newly created Farm Sales Group. This group has an emphasis on suppling products related to herd and flock biosecurity at the farm level. In this role you will not only represent Clipper but will also represent the manufacturer.
Reports to: Senior Sales Director
The Veterinary Technical Support & Sales Representative will be on the front lines working to build strong relationships with our veterinary and farm customers to provide technical support and help sell Clipper’s portfolio of products. In this hybrid technical and sales role, you will engage customers through knowledgeable interactions, business discussions and educational opportunities about what Clipper has to offer. Using your knowledge and consultative abilities you will be able to leverage sales in a way that helps bring better medicine to our customers.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide Technical Support to the Clipper Sales, Marketing Team and customers.
- Develop and manage Technical projects with customers, universities, interns
- Author and Co-Author papers and presentations for Industry Conferences and publications
- Manage KOL’s relationships with Veterinarian Universities and State/Federal Government Veterinarian’s
- Develop and implement strategic business plans within assigned geography to allow Clipper to advance in the marketplace
- Provide training and consultative services to customers
