The OIE on Emergency Preparedness

The OIE has developed new guidelines for simulation exercises with the goal of strengthening the capacity of Veterinary Services for preparedness against all hazards that affect animal health and welfare, and veterinary public health. [Source: OIE 29 October 2020]

OIE Scientific and Technical Review; Vol. 39, #2

This newly released issue of the OIE Scientific and Technical Review highlights the impacts of disasters on animals and their owners, as well as subsequent effects on economies, the environment and human health. In addition, it provides national Veterinary Services with an understanding of the scope and impact of disasters.
