Recent Study Suggests Swine Veterinarians are Weird and Socially Awkward

OK … Not really … but keep reading! Often, swine veterinarians lament that, "The pigs are easy. The people are the hard part." If you can relate, please consider registering for the LEADING PEOPLE pre-conference seminar at the AASV Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida. We plan for this to be an action-packed, interactive learning experience for all involved. The seminar is based on individual DiSC assessments and will provide tools for self-awareness and interpersonal growth.

As a testimonial, Dr. Chris Rademacher says, "DiSC assessment training has been TRANSFORMATIONAL for my professional career!! As I moved into working for a large company with a very seasoned management team and a very demanding supervisor, I was extremely hesitant about my interpersonal relationship skills in order to succeed. After DiSC training and with some practice, I now am able to understand "why" I do certain things and why other people behave the way they do. It has made me so much more effective, especially working with people, now that I can quickly diagnose people’s personality types and understand how to motivate and work with them. It is much simpler and more accurate than Meyers-Briggs or other personality typing courses I have taken. If I was a young or future veterinarian especially, I would take advantage of this training in order to be more effective with my clients and caretakers."

If it sounds like this seminar will help transform your career, make sure to sign up soon! Due to the time needed to complete individual DiSC assessments, the deadline for registration is March 1st. Don’t delay; register today at http://ecom.aasv.org/annmtg!
