The annual election for AASV Vice President is under way. The nominee is Dr. Jeff Harker (Frankfort, Indiana), with space on the ballot for a write-in candidate. Information about Dr. Harker appears in the January/February 2018 issue of the Journal of Swine Health & Production. You’ll also find a line on the ballot for the President-elect, who traditionally ascends from the Vice President position. If you’d like to refresh your memory about Dr. Nathan Winkelman, you’ll find his VP candidate’s message in the January/February 2017 issue of the Journal of Swine Health & Production. Ballots have been mailed to all AASV Active Members (veterinarians in the US, Canada, and Mexico) and must be returned by mail. Only official ballots received in the AASV office by February 23 will be counted. The election results will be announced at the AASV 2018 Annual Meeting in San Diego.
