Managing Filtered Farms

$195 through August 13, $220 starting August 14, lunch included

PRRS continues to be the most costly disease affecting the swine industry and air filtration offers a ray of hope to producers because of the effect on reducing new PRRSV breaks and the overall economic advantage on production parameters. In this workshop we will review important concepts of aerobiology and the principles of air filtration and we will discuss the factors that are key to successfully implement air filtration in sow farms. In addition, we will cover new information on PRRS challenges and what are the most common findings associated with air filtration failures. This is a very exciting and timely workshop that should arm producers and veterinarians with the latest information on air filtration for a successful winter season.
