The AASV’s Continuing Education Committee (formerly the Advanced Techniques Conference Committee) will be hosting its first in a series of webinars 2:00 – 5:00pm CDT on July 20, 2011. The webinar, entitled Euthanasia Solutions presented by Drs. Suzanne Millman and Locke Karriker, will provide an in-depth, focused look at swine euthanasia, including:
- Biology of euthanasia
- Physical methods of euthanasia
- Gas methods of euthanasia
- The human dimension
A fee of $25 will be charged per site. The webinar has also been approved for Continuing Education credits in Iowa. There is a $10 fee charged to participants wishing to apply for CE credits. Additional information and registration details will be available soon.
