There’s always ice fishing if you’re willing to risk breaking away and floating uncontrollably out to the Edmund Fitzgerald but I’d suggest you just start planning for the 2009 AASV Foundation Auction. You’re just as likely to get carried away but without the Coast Guard.
The Auction Committee has done a fantastic job assembling a great array of items for both the live and silent auction. We’re in the final stages of getting the auction brochure printed and mailed out but I have to bring a last minute donation to your attention. This item is so huge that unfortunately the rules governing auction advertising in the Guidelines for Auctions and Trading Online Regulations (GATOR) prevent me from telling you what it is. All I can say is visit the item listing page on the AASV Foundation web site and check out item #13!
