If your spouse is accompanying you to the AASV 2009 Annual Meeting, don’t forget to check out the DALLAS! tour offered for spouses on Monday March 9. There are still a few seats available, but space is limited so don’t wait to register! The tour will present a lively look at the city and landmarks that served as the backdrop for one of the most famous television series in history.
Participants will be regaled with Dallas stories and trivia on the way to visit and tour Southfork Ranch, home to the fictitious Ewing family of TV fame. After enjoying a country-style buffet luncheon in a private area of the ranch, the group will drive through Highland Park where the modern-day oil tycoons live, and then enjoy shopping "with the best of them" at Northpark Center. It’s one of the first and most highly regarded indoor shopping malls in the country, and features an art display and landscaped garden in addition to more than 160 world-class stores like Neiman Marcus, Barney’s New York, and Nordstrom.
Transportation, tour guide, admissions, and lunch are all included in the tour registration fee. Advance registration is required.
