Auction Items to Pique your Interest

Once again Dr. Joe Connor and the folks at Carthage Veterinary Service are donating three beautiful framed photographs signed by Joe Barban. Joe’s photographs were extremely popular at last year’s auction and I’m sure they will be again this year. Joe has a magnificent eye for composition and any one of these photos would look fabulous hanging in your clinic or home.

If you’re an aspiring photographer yourself or maybe just looking for a chance to get away from it all with a few of your best friends then what better place than Vermilion Bay, Ontario? Who would even think of looking for you there? Quentin Bottorff has graciously donated his private cabin on the bay for six nights and he’ll even cook, bartend and guide! This trip is all expenses paid except travel and you won’t even have to sit through a 90 minute time share pitch!

Since Quentin has agreed to cook for you while you’re at the cabin why not take along a fantastic Clifty Farm Whole Country Ham? Donated by Tosh Farms, this 18-20 pound ham can be yours if the price is right! Just imagine returning to a nice secluded Canadian cabin after a long day fishing in the bay to the smells of a freshly baked Tennessee Country Ham. Now if that don’t scream Norman Rockwell I don’t know what does. And, don’t worry about Quentin’s culinary skills, the cooking, cutting and storing instructions are all right on the package.

These are just a few of the remarkable items available for the 2009 AASV Foundation Auction. To view these and other donated items, please visit the Foundation’s Auction Listings on the website.
