The second Boundary Waters Veterinary Conference: Food Animal Production without Antibiotics will be held August 14-16, 2008, at Vermilion Community College in Ely, MN.
The conference will provide valuable, science-based information to veterinarians serving clients that produce and market natural and organic food animals. The conference is open to any veterinarian, veterinary student, or veterinary graduate student looking for an open exchange of information in a pristine vacation setting. Ely is the gateway village to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW) in northern Minnesota. This is a unique vacation area known for excellent outdoor activities including canoeing, kayaking, camping, hiking, fishing, and boating. Ely also has excellent shopping, restaurants and lodging.
Registration fees for veterinarians are $160 (includes barbeque, breakfasts, and meeting sessions) if registered by July 31. After July 31, registration is $185. Spouses and family members can be included in all events for an additional $50.

Spouses and family members can be included in all events for an additional $50. A limited number of scholarships are available for students to cover the registration fee.
