The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture has an opening for Director, Bureau of Animal Health & Diagnostic Services located in Harrisburg, Penn.
This position directs programs for the prevention and control of poultry and domestic animal diseases, diagnostic laboratory services and provides support services to the Animal Health & Diagnostic Commission.
Minimum Experience and Training Required: Ten (10) years of experience in the diagnosis and management of animal diseases in a university, governmental, industrial or private practice, including five (5) years experience in a supervisory capacity directing professional and technical staff. Possession of a DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA approved college is required.
Salary is commensurate with experience and accomplishments up to $118,084, plus a bonus incentive plan and generous benefits package.
