The AASV Foundation is pleased to announce that Newport Laboratories is once again co-sponsoring the effort to provide a $100 travel stipend to each AASV Student Member who pre-registers and attends the AASV 2008 Annual Meeting in San Diego! The Foundation initiated the travel stipend for students in 2005. This is the third year Newport Laboratories has co-sponsored the program.
To receive the stipend, the student must be a current (2007-8) student member of the AASV and must pre-register for the meeting no later than Friday, February 15, 2008.
The stipend applies only to students in veterinary school who have not yet received their DVM (or equivalent) degree. Veterinarians who are in graduate school do not qualify.
As in the past, the check will be available for the student to pick up at the AASV registration desk in San Diego.
