AASV Pork Safety announcement for Committee members

The AASV Pork Safety Committee is seeking committee members to serve for three year terms, which could involve rotation into the co-chair or chair of the committee.

The mission of the Pork Safety committee is "to enhance the swine practitioner’s status in national food safety issues and to integrate AASV food safety activities within coordinated, science-based efforts to produce world class pork; to represent the association in activities of other organizations dealing with pork quality and safety; to develop educational materials for the membership dealing with pork safety."

Simply put the committee provides input to the AASV Board of Directors on food safety issues that may arise or the committee deems necessary to address.
