Online Survey will Model the Potential Spread of FMD in the United States

The School of Veterinary Medicine of the University of California at Davis is conducting an anonymous online survey of livestock operations aimed at understanding how Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) might spread in the United States.

The anonymous survey takes a maximum of 10 minutes to complete and all responses will be used for research purposes only. Your participation will help researchers determine strategies for prevention and control of an FMD outbreak in different animal populations and to minimize the impact of an outbreak on livestock industries.

Questions or comments about the survey can be directed to Dr. Pelayo Alvarez of the Center for Animal Disease Modeling and Surveillance, School of Veterinary Medicine of the University of California, Davis by email at pealvarez@ucdavis.edu or by phone at (530) 554-2988.

Please go to http://www.fmdsurvey.com to take the survey.
