Iowa State University’s (ISU) College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a tenure-track, 12 month, faculty position. This is a joint appointment in the Department of Veterinary Diagnostic and Production Animal Medicine (VDPAM) and Biomedical Sciences (BMS). There will also be interaction with the Department of Animal Science (An Sci). The primary emphasis of this position is 50% research, 25% teaching and 25% professional practice/service/outreach. Research should focus primarily on animal well-being in conventional and alternative production systems for food producing animals. Teaching will be to food supply veterinary students and continuing education of practitioners. Outreach will include serving as a resource to the livestock and poultry industry and other agencies.
