Video Enhances Farmer and Neighbor Relations

A DVD produced by The Coalition to Support Iowa’s Farmers targets improving relationships between farmers and their neighbors by explaining how to responsibly and successfully grow livestock operations.

The information deals with what to consider when deciding where and how to build facilities, according to Aaron Putze, executive director of the coalition that was founded two years ago by six Iowa farm and commodity organizations.

The aim of the video, according to Putze, is for farmers to remain viable producers as well as to be active and well-thought of members of the community.

The DVD, called "Good Neighbors Building Trust," is free at www.supportsarmers.com or by calling 1-800-932-2436.
