National Institutes of Health Post-DVM Training Program

The NIH Post-DVM T32 Training Program at Virginia Tech is now accepting applications from veterinarians.

The Program is designed to provide veterinarians with cutting-edge biomedical research training leading to a PhD degree in the area of Animal Models for Human Diseases. The trainee can select a mentor from a team of 16 NIH-funded professors, and will enroll as a PhD student and receive an annual stipend of at least $41,000. The T32 AMRV training program is available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents with an earned D.V.M. or V.M.D. degree.
