AASV members to discuss PRRS, PCVAD at World Pork Expo

The American Association of Swine Veterinarians will hold a discussion session on the topics of Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) and Porcine Circovirus Associated Diseases (PCVAD) during World Pork Expo. This session is open only to AASV members and will provide an opportunity for members to hear the latest updates and participate in an open discussion on these two syndromes.

The session, moderated by AASV vice president Kerry Keffaber, will take place in the Tourism Building on the Iowa State Fairgrounds on Thursday June 8th 1:00 – 5:00 pm. The speakers, including Monte McCaw, Bob Rowland, Tom Gillespie, Pat Halbur, Sandy Amass and Butch Baker, will provide the latest information on PRRS from 1:00 – 1:50pm and PCVAD from 2:45 – 4:10pm. Each section will be followed by a discussion period.
