The effect of gonadotrophin treatment at weaning on primiparous sow performance

In sows treated at weaning with gonadotrophins, weaning-to-estrus interval was shorter than in untreated controls, but the proportions of sows bred within a 3-day period or 7 days after weaning, farrowing rate, total born, and born alive did not differ with treatment.
