Dr. Whitney Burton has joined Murphy-Brown, LLC in the North Division as a Staff Veterinarian. Dr. Burton graduated from North Carolina State University in 2007 with a BS in Animal Science and then received her DVM from NCSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2011. During her time at NCSU-CVM, Dr. Burton pursued swine medicine with a passion and spent much of her summer and externship opportunities in swine veterinary practices and/or production companies. Dr. Burton will be part of the veterinary services team responsible for 85,000 sows and their downstream production in North Carolina, Virginia and Pennsylvania. She will be an integral part of the production team with a goal to consistently improve animal health and performance. Dr. Burton will be based out of the North’s Tarboro, North Carolina office.
